Bates Route

Ascend blocky ledges through a lower angle left leaning dihedral. This fun romp comes to a halt when you reach a strange section where you will either have to exit the dihedral and do a slab move with out right, or grovel in a strange sideways position past a weird offwidth that tries it's hardest to spit you out. Finish the weirdness and clip a two bolt chain anchor to lower off. This anchor can also be used to toprope Speckman's.

30 feet to the right of Speckmans, this is the left trending offwidth/ramp above that wall.

Single rack to 4, though a 5 fits nicely in the cruxy bit.
