Circ Mantel

FA cold school late 1970's or early 1980's
CREATED
UPDATED

Description

This is a neat little old school novelty problem. Either jump up to the dish at lip of the boulder bypassing the blank face below, or for an even cooler experience, leap across the chasm from the lower boulder four feet away and hit the face with your feet and the dish with your hands. Press out the mantel either way you do it. This is a challenging little 5.9 mantel, perfect for a beginner or a first timer.

Location

This mantel is to the left of the Circarete and the Planet of the Apes problem, on the same boulder. It is right of the Bigfoot problem. This is a short face with an inciting dish at the lip, facing towards the stable entrance.

Protection

A pad will inspire confidence for the leap.
