Chockstone Crack

Climb the crack starting from the chockstone. Reminiscent of the movie 127 Hours, this crack leaves from a chockstone wedged down inside a chimney. The crux is at the top, where it gets wider than hands. The landing is potentially very bad, especially if you fall and fail to land on the chockstone. Don't fall.

Located in the chimney above and behind Sci-Fi Wall. The chockstone is found in the back of the chimney, between the backside of Sci-Fi Wall and Solo Boulder. Easiest to locate by finding Sander's Traverse, then walking thru the cave to the climbers right, exit the opposite side of the cave and walk/scramble until you see it.

Often bouldered, it can also be done roped. Since the landing is potentially catastrophic it's probably best to rope up for it.
