Peak Mountain 3

ALC (Alternative Living Cave)

Description

[Edit]

On Sept the 25th 2010 the Mountain Goats climbing team from Vertical Endeavors St Paul and their friends spent the day cleaning out this amazing roof, and former alternative living space, making it available to climbing once again. It is rumored to have been the home of some UMD students, and was complete with a stove and every thing one would need for surviving a winter in Duluth outside, including the remains of an ample supply of beer. Some of these lines where done by Jeremy J Schlick and Luke Evens in 94/95 but the names and grades have been lost to history. The cave consists of a large roof about 5.5 to 6 feet high and about 10 feet deep and 15 feet long, and is a definite must see for the consummate Minnesota climber.

Note: all grades are provisional more ascents need.
