The rock in the Highlands was formed a rift that allowed volcanic magma to surge upward. As the massive mountains that once were the Appalachian chain eroded, this harder rock remained protruding from the earth... and now we get to climb on it.
These rocks are light grey and weathered. The stone is super skin friendly, so after a day or two of pulling on the aggressive stone lower in forest areas in GHSP this is very welcomed.
Expect slopey dishes, jugs, and massive rounded pockets here. Most lines on LAVA are tall to medium in height and from V0-v3...
