Description
[Edit]At the south end of Sunnybrook State Park in Torrington, there is a 500 foot wide, 100 foot tall bedrock cut for the overflow spillway at the “East Branch Dam” flood-control dry dam across the Naugatuck River. The deep cut into bedrock seeps groundwater, and when combined with melting from further uphill, develops ice flows that should be climbable under ideal conditions. Faces east. Legal, easy access. Unclear if there’s any climbing history here.
