Crane Cove

A beautiful remote desert canyon with more Bighorn sheep than people. The rock is typical Black Canyon volcanic breccia complete with weird holds and slickness. Lots of bouldering at all grades from the parking area to the river a half mile down canyon. At the river is the ranger gauging station trail that comes up from Willow Beach to the gauging station a short ways up river from Crane Cove.
