A beatiful line, past an intimidating roof, onto a face that is harder than any of the routes on the SW face.  The roof is not as hard as it looks, and pulling the lip is exciting.  The face above will offer the most resistance, especially for the shorter folks.  Finally after the face, a leftward trending traverse below the big roof will get you to the anchors.

Dredging the Trench

Face climb on edges through fractures and broken cracks with great feet.  Placing gear is a little pumpy.  Don't get sucked left - head up and a little right, intersecting the little roof on the right.  Seems like you wind up placing gear at your chest/waist a lot.

From the road, one can see a polished east face, on the right side of the wall.  This climbs the right side of it.  It starts off with some broken rock, and a couple of bulges, and ends up with a nice polished quartzite exit.

Spot the grey hanger, the route is here. Just to the left of Lip Service. Weird traversing with a lip sequence that involves a palm.

This is the face between Sockdollager and Straight Talk (The two rightmost cracks on the SE face).  Climb the slightly inverted face on thin holds, meeting up with Straight Talk at the end.

A new climb, this route climbs like it's neighbors, with one exception:  It has an arete to use.  Solid rock, steep climbing, with good edges and a lot of sidepulls, except for the finish (which still isn't runout), and great exposure.

This route is on the SW face, left of the big roof there is a rotten "looking" section of rock with mineral residue from the aquaduct.  Two new routes climb this rock, this is the right-most.  This looks rotten but is solid, with nice crimpers and a nice angle. This is a pumping climb that works a couple of small roofs.  Nice line.

From the road, one can see a polished east face, on the right side of the wall. This climbs the left side of it. Broken rock and poor aesthetics.

Just left of the large boulder, is a crack that requires stemming down low and jams the rest of the way.  The protection is there and the moves are not too bad.

On the SW face, left of the big roof is a rotten-looking (but solid) white looking face.  There are 2 routes that are bolted here.  This is the left one.  Climb up the crack to attain the ledge where one can clip the first bolt.  Continue up this steep face to the chains.  Lots of crimpers, and good footwork.  With only the occasional reachy move.  Good workout.

What appears to be Aqueduct's most recent addition, and possibly its shortest route, is surprisingly good.  It climbs one of the blanker expanses of rock on the crag via some of the most powerful moves Aqueduct has to offer.

The furthest right crack on the south-east face.  This crack is steep but the jams are all there.  Near the top there is a hole, at that point, angle left across the face to the chains.  This is just after the crux.

This is the right bolted line on the SE face.  It is steep and pumpy and has a smooth bulge that bewilders.

This climbs the crack directly above the large boulder.  Step off and balance your way to the beginning of the climb.  This climb has nice finger and hand jams and the occasional layback.

This is the left bolted line on the SE face.  The beginning is bouldery, but small nuts protect the initial moves well.  It eases up with widely spaced bolts, so bring extra gear. This shares the anchors with Subterrainian and Double Standard, and is the quickest way to set up a toprope for those 2 climbs.

Dredge your way up the chosy, scaly, mineral deposited, vegetated  crack to the left of Submachine.
