West Pillar, Left Side

P1 is steep 5.9+.

P2 easy grassy 5.5.

P3-P5 is 5.8 to 5.9+ corners with bulges.

P6-P8 is easier ~5.7 climbing around blocks.

Starts at a pillar with a steep 5.9+ 1st pitch. May have snow at the base, especially in early season. Lots of scree at base and it was hard ice in mid Sept. The climb starts just left of the ‘M’ recess in the base of the west pillar wall. Follow corners up and left to easier climbing and summit of west pillar.

Standard doubles rack small to 2”. One 3”. One #11 hex or a 4” would be useful.
