Ceci N'est Pas Une Roche
Description
Sit down, press a foot up into a nice left-facing corner, put your hands up on the arete above. Move up the short arete until your hands reach the high point. I guess it's not V-easy if you top out (which I hope to do, one day).
This is a fun problem for someone who rarely boulders outdoors. Short enough to allay any fears, easy enough to complete, hard enough to pose a little challenge.
Location
Walk up the short trail from the road, and see a huge, friendly boulder in front of you. Turn right and start walking, counting your steps. After about 100 steps you come to the "Sip of Sunshine" boulder. To the right of that boulder is a small boulder, about 5 feet tall. This is your boulder. Throw your pad down under it and get going.
Protection
Pad. But this boulder is so short, you may not even need that.
