Corkscrew

Description

Start at the base of the steeper south side of the pillar. Trend up and left through a few thinker moves to reach a tricky but short slab. Gain a very good flake system that takes you up and right to thin ... as you go to reach a tricky move to gain the final bulge. This is varied throughout. Still, it is a bit dirty but should continue to clean up well.

Location

It is the namesake route of the Corkscrew Pillar and is just right of

Corker

about 200 feet to the right of where the approach trail hits the base of the lowball wall and

Sunrise Slab

.

Protection

10 bolts and anchors (shared with

Corky

).
