- Edit (TBD)
Description
Tricky thin slabbing up the center line. Crux seemed to be just past the 2nd bolt; then it joins Leonardo Da Smeari above the diagonal crack. A great climb to see what you can stand on. If it was longer it would be a legitimate testpiece; this still may be the hardest decently-protected slab pitch in Lower La Cueva Canyon. Kind of high first bolt but if you can't get there you don't have a chance. Old guidebook to the Sandia foothills called this "Christopher Columbogus"... Blank Canvas is more elegant and apt.
Location
Center route on the first black-streaked cliff.
Protection
3 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor shared with the other routes. Possibly a nut into the diagonal crack - you'll have probably lowered past this after climbing one of the other routes to know for sure if that's something you want.
