Description
Approach: Scramble up 3rd class gully about 200’ up and left of the start to Bastille Wall. Route starts in low angle wind tunnel behind the big block that towers over the aforementioned route.
P1: Fun but short finger crack leads to right trending slopey ledge past 7 bolts to 3 bolt anchor. Bolts are in good shape relatively speaking, but the lichen makes for some interesting slab moves. 5.9 slab
P2: Unprotected slab moves (don’t factor 2!) to right trending, lower angle crack onto a large grassy ledge system. Could use some more gardening. 5.7
P3: Low 5th class to the left and up behind large block at the top.
Descent: We rapped Sticky Fingers. Hadn’t been done in a while guessing from the tat.
Gear: rack to 3”, double ropes, extra tat for the raps
Protection
Standard rack to 3”, 7 quickdraws
