Description

Short and sweet, Esse Crack is definitely worth checking out. At only about 40 feet long, this S-shaped finger crack has a variety of entertaining moves and only a moderately difficult 10c. The crux is probably up towards the top, where the feet get thin and the crack can be a bit damp at times.

Location

Just around the corner from 'Promised', and, well, in a corner! Starts below a low roof. Look for the S-shaped finger crack. Nice and tucked away on those crowded bridge days.

Protection

Great protection, small-mid cams/nuts. Anchor at top is large tree - bring something to extend 10-15 feet if you plan to top-rope. Possible to walk off to left, but be careful.
