Pyrrhic Pulse

Description

Pyrrhic Pulse is a lowball power problem that ascends a steep, hueco roof, and finishes with a burly move to a sharp, right hand edge.

Sit start with a right hand gaston hueco and a left hand pinch/gaston hueco. From there, work a right hand hueco, then follow with the left hand to a hueco just left of the right, let the feet cut and move to the start holds, then move to a right hand pinch on the arete, switch the left to an undercling position, and fire to a right hand fin-edge (crux and sharp), bring the feet out, and work up the remaining edges to top it out.

Location

This ascends the east-facing overhang of White Noise.

Protection

While working the problem, I would alternate between using a pad and not using one, it got in the way several times (dab factor), but was nice for repeated misses on the crux move. A thin pad would be ideal.
