Secret Ceiling

A lazer cut splitter out a huge roof! At 20 feet dead horizontal, this climb is a contender for one of the longest roof cracks in Pine Creek!

Start in the corner of Star Search. From the ledge follow the slabby corner past an old piton(?) to the base of the GIANT roof. Place gear as far out as you can before committing to the business. Make your way out the perfect crack with the help of only a couple of foot holds to the dramatic finish as the crack narrows to smaller than fingers. Continue on cracks traversing right to the anchor of Skeletons in the Closet, lower off. Cleaning is difficult! Probably best to clean the pitch on TR.

Out the right side of the obvious huge square roof. The roof can be seen on the left side of the Secret Cliffs from the parking lot. Starts on the thin corner of Star Search.

0.3-2". For the roof, +/-singles BD #0.1-0.75. Mussy anchor at the top of Skeletons. Lower off.
