Richnak's Revenge

Description

Follow the bolts up and left past a straightforward but slighlty overhanging and pumpy lower section. The crux is a tricky overhang just left of the bolts, followed by easy slightly run-out climbing to the anchor.

A bit of a one-move wonder but it's a fun overhang.

Location

Start in the middle of the wall between two large boulders about 30 feet apart and just right of a tree which grows right up to the wall. Start is about 10 feet left of the start to Regular Route.

To top-rope this climb the belayer can optionally stand on top of the boulder to the left to get a better angle for the rope. A directional through the bolt just below the overhang will help a top-roper work on the crux.

Protection

5 bolts, shared anchor (on the right of the boulder at the top) with Regular Route. A few of the bolts are starting to rust. Can be set up as a TR after leading Regular Route.
