For The Grandchildren

This is a relatively new route at East Colfax. It's worth posting some info in case beginners jump on it, because there are some loose things and you may want gear. A bunch of folks were on it already, some pulling off blocks...and there is a scary block on the right. Now, a first bolt has been added.

Climb from the right over a small bulge. Early on before the first bolt was placed, some started from the left on a ramp where one could get a yellow Alien in a left-facing flake. Move up to a tiny overlap to the 1st bolt. You can go left, over, or right of a small tree. Continue up a slab passing a few bolts. You can get a large purple Alien (~#0.75 or #1 Camalot size) before tiny runout to the last bolt. Beware of a large, loose block on the right between the 2nd-to-last and last bolt. Staying left is safer. Clip the 2 bolt anchor with chains.

5 bolts and a 2 bolt anchor with chains. One can use a yellow Alien for the left start and a large purple Alien (#0.75 or #1 Camalot) to supplement the bolts.
