Copperline

Description

First off this route if fun and can be made much harder if you don't hold the holds right and you miss a key knee bar.

Sit start on two good hold and make a long move up to a left hand pinch on the arete, being careful not to cut your feet. Once you have the pinch move you right hand up to a sharp right hand just below your left then get your feet up and move to sloper-jug out left with you left hand. Knee-bar and move hands up to the top out. Hint for the top out don't just think straight up, left might be a good place to look.

The route is dirty on the top out and a few other patches of copper colored moss, for which the route was named (and because Copperline by James Taylor is a great song).

This is a new route but the rock is solid :)

Location

On the right of The Twin Boulders this climbs the blunt arete in the middle of the boulder trending right to left. The line is obvious the moves are not.

Protection

Pad, spotter and tape for the sharp rock.
