The Rook

Description

Climb up an easy, fun start. Turn right to face the rook. As it gets overhung, use the crack on the left, until you can traverse out, and pull up to the ledge. Climb the much easier section to the top.

Location

The right-most climb in the Playground. Look up to the right of the roof, you can't miss the giant, protruding crown of the rook.

Protection

Setting an anchor at the top of this climb will prove tricky. I saw only two, quite small boulders.
