Death Blocks

A very fun boulder problem brings you to your first opportunity for gear about 30 feet up. Enjoy thrilling sequences on good holds through very steep terrain for the grade. The cost of entry is the loose nature of the blocks that give the route its name. Many of the blocks are big and only temporarily attached to the face. Protection is marginal and hard to get. The kind of route that you do once, and never again!

To the left of Jude, the route climbs the obvious big holds to juggy, overhanging loose blocks above.

Don’t fall, but bring a rack to 3” with emphasis on small cams.
