Description
This problem is found on the south face of the Asteroid Boulder about 10' right of
Ceres
and around and left from the thin crack/seam of
Peabrain
at an obvious left-facing flake.
Match hands on the flake, pull onto a small ledge and then lieback up the flake passing a steep bit with smears for the feet (crux) until possible to grab the top of the flake. From the top of the flake run your feet up the face and finish with an easy mantle.
This problem is unnamed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but given the name Pioneer to honor the first spacecraft to travel through the asteroid belt of our solar system.
