Description
Starts off with a couple of nice mantles to comfy clipping stances, followed by some easy scrambling to the base of the headwall, where a good undercling will help you get the next bolt clipped. The moves up the headwall are not obvious (there are some sweet spots on the flake and some decent pockets to use), but once you find the right sequence and body positioning it isn't too hard. Unlike many Med Wall routes, there isn't a good clipping jug above the anchors - clip a little below the anchors for the most secure stance.
Named in honor of "The Mayor of Med Wall", Matt Markell, for his forethought, leadership and hard work in the rebirth of this fun local crag.
Currently the route is still a little dirty, but should clean up with some more traffic and brushing.
Location
Currently the leftmost route at Metro Wall. Locate the easy to spot arete (Future No More Uncertain Then The Present), and this route is the climb about 15 feet left of the arete, with an obvious crack/flake system up high.
Protection
Glue-in bolts and clip and lower anchors
