Flame and Gory

In a unique alcove, capped with a giant roof, framed by two large pine trees and protected by a small boulder, the view from anywhere on this route is welcoming. Jam the crack and pull on sandy jugs through the slightly overhanging start to a rest in a triangular alcove. Lie back and/or jam the wide (4") crack to reach the bolted anchors just below the roof.

Alternate second pitch traverses right under the roof along the blank slab, then up through the notch to the top. 5.10d.

In the small alcove on the wall opposite the slowly forming Natural Bridge.
