Description
Lead the obvious jagged crack to the top. Beware there is No anchor on top see Protection below. It's a fun line, we removed some loose blocks that were sitting around and there might be some more to clean off. However the rock on the route felt quite solid.
Location
The South West wall of free standing Pinnacle on the east end of the main outcrop.
Protection
There are no anchors on top, not even gear anchors. The protection is a standard rack. The top is flat and has a three foot wall. I'm used to climbing & scrambling around Seneca's many ledge systems, so I felt ok with going off belay. I pulled up my rope and tied the middle off to my harness. I untied the end and tossed the rope down the back side of the rock and had someone tie it securely to a tree with 3 wraps around the tree. Anchoring tightly to the rope, I then top belayed my friends and lowered them off. And I too rappelled down the climb. We untied the rope from the tree on the back side of the rock and then pulled the rope down off the pinnacle.
