Description

Bad Guides is a good-sized boulder problem among a bunch of small rocks. Start low, matched on an obvious block. Move up on a few flakes and top 'er out!

We found and climbed this while sneaking away for a minute from guiding a backpacking trip.

Location

This is located in the boulders on the east side of the lake. It is a 1 minute walk from the Fern Lake group campsite. See the photo. The route is on the east face of the boulder.

Protection

Ideally you'd want 3 pads and a spotter.
